On BJJ….

Dated my partner to attend the female BJJ lesson and only 3 of us in the class including a blue belt senior lady who is very well liked among all of us ^^. The professor, for the first time, gave us only 30mins of warm up+techniques and the remaining session was specific training and randori. It was my first time trying out randori and its definitely crazy fun. Super tiring but very fun. There are so many moments where I’d get stuck with my partner and always getting armbar, armlock with blue belt lady. Its like no matter how she turn, she could always get me in a locked up situation.blue belt 不是白给的！ By the end of the hour, I find myself covering in new bruises and spotted several hair strands on my partner’s chest. Great, I couldn’t wear sleeveless to the wedding on that night.

Finally meet up with my secondary school classmates after not seeing them in years at BB & Serene’s wedding. It has been 15 years since we all last graduated and I couldn’t believe that it has been this long. Why doesn’t the schools here hold reunion party like the states…. we could only meet whenever someone from our batch got married and its really weird to invite friends you haven’t been talking to in ages. Nevertheless, it was fun to catch up with them. I could still visualise how they were back in secondary school days, pranking & talking crap, we didn’t even know what we want to do or see ourselves in 10 years time. All of them have been so successful with what they’ve been doing now. Life… is like a movie…

Life is too short…

I dont know when I’m gonna leave this world. Maybe today or perhaps tomorrow. So I have been taking the opportunity to learn as many things as I can. I signed up for Modern Calligraphy lesson few weeks back. Class will take place last sunday of this month. I mean, I have always been interested in writing, when I’m free, I write & scrible, trying to improve my own calligraphy.

I kind of regret not hiring a calligrapher to design my wedding invitation. Its ok, by the end of this month, I should be equipped with the basics and will write for all my bff whenever they need!

Post wedding photoshoot!

Because I was suffering from post pre-wed photo session syndrome that I went to Seoul and have another session (of myself) of photo shoot through recommendation of my very good friend, David. I mean I’ve been wanting to hold my pre-wedding session in Seoul as well but Ed rejected me (sob)

So David highly recommended Third Mind Studio based in Seoul. The studio is famous for many celebrities taking their pre-wedding photos as well. Actress such as Jung Ji Hyun & Chae Rim. You could read about it here

What is so cool about this studio is that I have the privilege of having the whole studio to myself when the session is going on, without seeing other couples taking pictures at the same time. Also the 이모(auntie helper) was extremely professional. I didn’t bring anything with me at all and she took take of everything. I didn’t even have my nail polish on ( but no, there was no nail painting session but who cares if they sees any nail polish on my nails)

the make up & hair studio which the wedding gown rental company(Elizabeth Lux) recommend was just a floor down where they are so its super convenient. Sunmi from A by BOM, my make up artist for the day was very experience, she did make up for lots  of celebrities and she also appear on beauty talk show ‘Get it Beauty’. Her make up looks very light but damn, I looked so much like a Korean celebrity. The make up is so good that I told them I don’t require any photoshop at all.
